Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary HR Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources operations. This role will assist with administrative tasks, employee support, onboarding coordination, and HR data management to ensure efficient and compliant HR processes.

This is a temporary position intended to provide coverage and support based on current business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR systems
  • Assist with filing, document management, and maintaining personnel files
  • Support payroll-related data entry and timekeeping coordination as needed

Recruiting & Onboarding Support

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and orientation support
  • Prepare onboarding materials and ensure completion of required documentation

Employee Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for basic employee questions regarding HR policies and processes
  • Support HR team with employee communications and follow-ups
  • Assist with tracking attendance, time-off requests, and other employee data

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure proper completion and storage of HR documents (I-9s, onboarding forms, etc.)
  • Support compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Assist with audits and reporting as needed

Projects & Team Support

  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives and projects
  • Assist with training coordination, employee events, or engagement activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR function

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • High school diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1+ year of administrative or HR support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing or multi-shift environments
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems or timekeeping platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Demands

  • Primarily seated office work with occasional walking through production areas
  • Frequent computer use and communication

Work Environment

  • Office and manufacturing environment
  • May require interaction with production employees and use of PPE in designated areas

POSITION DETAILS

  • Temporary, non-exempt position
  • Schedule and duration may be adjusted based on business needs

Compensation Information:

Hourly Pay Range

$22.00- $25.00
