Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to provide responsive technical assistance for end users in San Antonio, Texas. This position focuses on resolving desktop, application, and account-related issues while delivering attentive service and clear communication. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting ability, experience working in structured ticketing environments, and a customer-focused approach to daily support operations.

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day technical assistance for hardware, software, and application issues submitted by end users through the service desk.
• Record, track, and maintain support requests accurately, ensuring tickets are updated with progress, resolution details, and next steps.
• Diagnose reported technical problems, determine practical solutions, and escalate issues to the appropriate IT teams when needed.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and support groups to coordinate issue resolution and maintain service continuity.
• Develop and refine internal support documentation and knowledge articles to improve consistency and speed of future troubleshooting.
• Carry out assigned desktop support tasks within established IT service expectations, emphasizing timeliness, accuracy, and quality service.
• Deliver a high level of customer service by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and handling support interactions with empathy and urgency.
