Accounting Clerk (Contract) – Information Technologies Company | Shelton, CT

An information technologies company in Shelton, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry and transactional accounting skills who can support daily financial operations in a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile invoices, payments, and account records for accuracy
• Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation
• Assist with billing, data entry, and general ledger support
• Research discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets for accounting and operational review
• Support month-end administrative and accounting tasks as needed
• Handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and confidentiality
