Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key accounting operations for a long-term contract position based onsite in Royersford, Pennsylvania. This role will focus on maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening reporting processes, and helping address a significant pricing data backlog through detailed analysis and system updates. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting judgment, comfort with transactional cleanup work, and the ability to manage month-end activities with accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly close activities by preparing entries, reviewing balances, and helping ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger by researching discrepancies, correcting account activity, and supporting overall account integrity.
• Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve variances through thorough investigation and follow-up.
• Reconcile banking activity regularly to confirm cash records are complete, accurate, and aligned with supporting documentation.
• Review historical pricing records, clean up outdated information, and enter revised pricing data with a high level of accuracy.
• Use QuickBooks to manage accounting records, update transactions, and support day-to-day financial operations.
• Analyze large volumes of financial and pricing data to identify inconsistencies, trends, and items requiring correction.
• Provide hands-on support for data entry and record maintenance related to accounting and pricing updates.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify financial information and help keep accounting activities moving forward efficiently.
