Patient Support Associate
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors in a courteous, service-focused manner while helping create a positive clinic experience.
• Explain clinic services, general care-related information, and organizational resources to current and prospective patients.
• Arrange return visits at checkout and prepare the forms, documentation, and electronic records needed for upcoming appointments.
• Enter and update patient information in the appropriate system with close attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Receive copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances, then issue receipts and record transactions correctly.
• Reconcile daily payments by comparing collected funds, posted transactions, and end-of-day reporting.
• Maintain patient charts, visit documents, and related records so files remain organized, complete, and easy to retrieve.
• Work with other clinic departments to coordinate records and support compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
• Assist with requested reports, keep shared office areas orderly, and report equipment issues or operational concerns promptly.
• Take on additional assignments and special projects as needed while demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a patient-centered approach.
