HR Generalist

We are looking for an HR Generalist to support key people operations for a Contract position based in Cicero, Illinois. This role will manage day-to-day human resources activities, help create a positive employee experience, and provide dependable support across onboarding, administration, and benefits. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to handle employee matters with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:
• Support employees and managers by addressing workplace questions, resolving routine employee relations matters, and escalating sensitive issues when needed.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including pre-employment documentation, orientation scheduling, and timely completion of required records.
• Maintain accurate personnel files and HR data, ensuring employee information is updated consistently across administrative systems.
• Assist with benefits administration by helping employees understand available programs, processing enrollments and changes, and following up on related documentation.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support daily HR operations, policy communication, and general compliance with company procedures.
• Prepare standard HR reports, track employment-related records, and help monitor deadlines for required forms and recurring processes.
• Use HRIS tools to enter, review, and audit employee information to support data accuracy and efficient workflow management.
