VP/Director of Finance
Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and interpretation of asset and liability reporting, delivering insights and recommendations to leadership groups such as the Asset Liability Committee and Board.
• Develop narrative financial commentary for quarterly and annual reporting materials, translating results into clear business context.
• Direct the annual budgeting cycle using Budget-Ware tools, coordinating inputs, assumptions, and final submissions across the organization.
• Support the creation and review of financial filings and reports required for shareholders, regulators, and internal management.
• Oversee daily accounting operations to maintain reliable financial records and ensure all recurring reports are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and promoting accountability.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, updating procedures and controls to maintain ongoing compliance.
• Prepare or review financial management reports, month-end close outputs, and cash flow forecasting analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Participate in industry meetings, training sessions, and seminars to stay current on industry practices and regulatory developments.
• Fulfill position-related Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities, including escalating suspicious activity concerns in accordance with established protocols.
