Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in New Castle, Delaware. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while supporting daily front office operations in a medical setting. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments
• Check patients in and out for appointments
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and demographic data
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient files
• Collect copays and process payments
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and other front desk administrative tasks
• Communicate with providers, clinical staff, and patients regarding scheduling and documentation needs
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times
