We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We arecurrently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer 4 to work in a technicalsupport role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in adynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing groupand company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range ofclients. This is a full-time position located in Salt LakeCity, UT.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on major consulting assignments associated with your area of expertise, provide expert-level technical and strategic consulting, and ensure that assignments align with client needs.
  • Leverage your breadth of experience and knowledge from working across multiple clients, projects, codes, and regulatory frameworks and/or market segments and geographies to align project scopes with client objectives to deliver extraordinary client value.
  • Support the development of team technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks.
  • Direct, coach, and support teams of staff in quality execution of multiple projects simultaneously within your technical practice area and specialty.
  • Enhance company visibility by serving as a subject matter expert to external organizations and leveraging your role to advance company relationships with stakeholders, organizing conference sessions, publishing technical papers, etc.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams to perform remediation and industrial water treatment projects through the project lifecycle phases.
  • Support large technical evaluations and design efforts, including advanced water and wastewater treatment systems, emerging contaminant challenges, dewatering projects, and process water optimization projects.
  • Support large design efforts, major permitting efforts, technical evaluations, design and contract package development, construction procurement support, and function as Engineer of Record and/or subject matter expert on civil and environmental type projects.
  • Perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate the company’s foundational safety behaviors.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 16+ years of related experience, with emphasis on civil, environmental, or construction engineering-related practices.
  • Professional registration or certification, as applicable.
  • Able to integrate industry-leading advancements into work as appropriate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including verbally communicating and presenting project information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Applies emotional intelligence to achieve higher impact on project team and client communications.
  • Significant experience with civil and/or environmental design and construction package development.

The salary range for this position in Salt Lake City,UT is $165,000 - $195,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upona variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates,skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salaryranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
