Network Engineer (Security and AV Systems)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

    Provide design support for network infrastructure, ensuring compatibility with security and AV systems

    Assist in product selection and make necessary adjustments to meet project requirements.

    Configure equipment in a lab environment to test functionality and troubleshoot issues.

    Deploy to site in support of system installations, ensuring successful integration with existing infrastructure.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to assess integration needs and implement solutions into existing customer networks.

    Requirements:


Competencies and Qualifications 

    Proven experience in designing and deploying small networks, preferably in the security or AV industry.

    Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching technologies.

    Familiarity with security principles and best practices for network infrastructure.

    Experience with audiovisual systems and integration is a plus.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues effectively.

    Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
