Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Track owned and rented equipment and its’ associated costs
  • Work with job sites to manage equipment utilization and determine if changes in the quantity or type of assets are needed
  • Manage the mobilization/transfer of assets
  • Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and required inspections
  • Manage regulatory compliance programs
  • Run the telematics program and vehicle fuel and maintenance program
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to schedules.
  • Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjust work schedules as indicated by reports
  • Direct business of day-to-day operations of a yard site from quoting through invoicing and see that bills and employees are paid correctly
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays
  • Responsible for generating outside business for fabrication, field service, and equipment sales

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in construction or engineering-related field preferred, or a combination of education and/or 10+ years of construction equipment supervision work experience.

Physical Demands

  • Travel will be required to visit job sites, training, meetings, etc.
  • Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift
  • Occasionally required to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climb.
  • Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand English clearly.
