About OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital
With a strong tradition of teamwork, diversity and interdisciplinary care, we believe all children deserve the best. At Doernbecher, we built a hospital around that belief. It is why we have more specialists in children’s health than anywhere else in the state. We offer the newest and most advanced treatments available, along with innovative collaborations and research opportunities.
Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing team of 10 pediatric gastroenterologists, a pediatric psychologist, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 3 dieticians, 5 RNs and dedicated social work support. Embracing multidisciplinary collaboration, we are actively involved in a broad range of clinical care, education and research activities. We are focused on building centers of clinical excellence within pediatric gastroenterology to better serve our patients.
Requirements
In this position, we are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider with a passion for supporting clinical programs that meet the needs of our patients. Our team has enjoyed significant growth in our clinical footprint, both in the metro area and across the state. This position will primarily support our outreach population, with a focus on either Eugene or Medford. This will be determined and reviewed on an annual basis in response to our patients’ needs in those areas.
As we grow our faculty roster, we are developing clinical centers of excellence for subspecialized care, led by passionate physicians and supported by our incredible APP team. Our APPs enjoy having the autonomy of managing their own patient panels, while having a deep bench of physicians to provide hands on, real time training for patients that are more complex.
We believe in a collaborative team approach across our institution as well as across the region. We invest in developing our faculty members and encourage applicants with a differentiated interest in pediatric gastroenterology to apply.
