Major/Essential Functions
- Provide high-quality Internal Medicine care with a mix of inpatient, comprised of approximately 5 months of hospital service, and outpatient care, comprised of approximately 3-4 faculty clinics and 2 resident clinics weekly.
- Participate in resident and medical student teaching at the bedside and through our core educational conferences.
- Engage in scholarly and academic activities.
- Contribute to departmental and institutional quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate in medical school and/or hospital committees, like the Clinical Competency Committee, as determined by the Department Chair and Chief of Internal Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent.
- Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3 or in the process of completing an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency.
- Completion of, or in the process of completing, an Internal Medicine Residency.
- ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible, or in the process of completing training to become Board Eligible, in Internal Medicine.
