Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support a fast-growing financing company on a Long-term Contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting specialist who can bring structure to day-to-day financial operations, validate historical records, and deliver reliable reporting for leadership and investors. The position requires someone comfortable working independently in a lean environment while establishing sound processes that can support continued growth.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct a detailed review of prior accounting activity to confirm the accuracy of historical financial records and identify items requiring correction.
• Evaluate opening balances and ledger activity, post necessary adjustments, and oversee ongoing bookkeeping to maintain complete and accurate accounts.
• Lead core close activities each month, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of internal financial results.
• Produce timely reporting packages for management, investors, and board stakeholders, translating financial data into clear and organized summaries.
• Develop and refine budgeting and forecasting procedures to help leadership monitor performance and plan effectively.
• Manage account reconciliations across cash and other balance sheet areas, resolving discrepancies and strengthening financial controls.
• Support accounting for lending-related transactions, including credit facilities or similar financing arrangements, when applicable.
• Create practical processes and documentation that improve consistency, accuracy, and scalability across accounting and finance operations.

$76.00-$88.00 Hourly
