ERP Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise resource planning initiative for a public sector organization in Los Angeles, California. This Contract position will oversee delivery from initial planning through deployment while keeping business priorities, regulatory obligations, and schedule expectations on track. The role requires close collaboration across operational and technical teams to drive a well-coordinated implementation and maintain executive visibility throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the end-to-end execution of the ERP program, guiding work from project kickoff through launch and stabilization.

• Build and maintain detailed project roadmaps, timelines, budget oversight, and resource plans to support successful delivery.

• Partner with HR, payroll, IT, and external vendors to align activities, dependencies, and milestones across all workstreams.

• Facilitate discovery sessions to define business needs and translate them into actionable implementation plans.

• Oversee data conversion efforts and integration planning to support a smooth connection between systems and processes.

• Identify project risks early, manage issue resolution, and escalate critical matters to leadership with clear recommendations.

• Prepare and present status updates for executives and stakeholders, including progress against timeline, budget, and key deliverables.

• Ensure project execution meets public sector standards for compliance, governance, and reporting requirements.
