Bookkeeper

We are looking for a dependable Bookkeeper to provide part-time accounting support for a growing advisory firm in Wisconsin. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is well suited for someone who enjoys managing client bookkeeping, keeping records accurate, and contributing to month-end accounting activities across a range of businesses. The role offers flexible hours with the potential to expand in scope as client demand continues to increase.

Responsibilities:
• Handle vendor invoices and complete accounts payable activities accurately and on schedule
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, and key balance sheet accounts for multiple clients
• Assist with month-end close tasks, including reviewing transactions and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Maintain well-organized financial records and ensure client books remain current and accurate
• Support recurring bookkeeping services for a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients
• Help explain financial results, including profit and loss reporting, in a clear and client-friendly manner
• Partner with firm leadership on special accounting assignments and client service needs
• Contribute to QuickBooks-related bookkeeping, cleanup efforts, and accounting support projects

$22.00-$25.00 Hourly
