Accounting
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant or experienced accounting clerk to join a manufacturing organization in Plainsboro, New Jersey. This role directly supports day-to-day accounting activity and helps maintain accurate financial records across payables, receivables, and general ledger tasks. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in QuickBooks, preparing journal entries, and contributing to a timely month-end close while providing responsive support to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting transactions related to vendor payments and customer invoicing using QuickBooks.
• Record and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial data and support general ledger integrity.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and review of financial information.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and help resolve billing questions.
• Process accounts payable accurately and on schedule while verifying documentation and coding details.
• Support broader finance operations by organizing records, preparing reports, and assisting with routine accounting analysis.
• Respond professionally to inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding accounting matters.
