Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Deer Park, New York. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can oversee the full bookkeeping cycle, maintain accurate records, and help keep accounting processes running smoothly. The person in this role will work across payables, receivables, payroll, and reconciliations while using QuickBooks to ensure timely and reliable financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete bookkeeping function, including recording transactions and maintaining organized financial records

• Process vendor invoices, schedule payments, and monitor accounts payable activity for accuracy and timeliness

• Track incoming payments, apply receipts, and follow up on outstanding balances within accounts receivable

• Run payroll in compliance with established policies and applicable regulations, ensuring team members are paid correctly and on schedule

• Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts to identify discrepancies and keep ledgers current

• Maintain and update QuickBooks records to support accurate reporting and efficient month-end review

• Prepare routine financial summaries and support management with reliable accounting information

• Assist with accounting process updates or system-related changes when needed as part of ongoing operational support
