Billing Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Manage routine billing activities for multiple client accounts, ensuring invoices and related records are processed accurately and on time.
• Review financial transactions for completeness and consistency, identifying discrepancies and escalating issues when needed.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain organized documentation to support day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
• Assist with billing collections by tracking outstanding balances and following established procedures for account follow-up.
• Prepare billing statements and support materials that help present financial information clearly to clients and internal team members.
• Enter and update data within computerized billing systems to maintain reliable account information and reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to basic financial reporting by compiling figures, organizing records, and supporting the creation of summary documents under team direction.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in billing, bookkeeping, accounts support, or a related financial administrative role.• Working knowledge of billing functions, including invoice processing, statement preparation, and payment tracking.
• Experience with billing collections and following up on open balances with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with billing systems and computerized billing platforms used for account maintenance and recordkeeping.
• Ability to reconcile transactions, spot inconsistencies, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work efficiently across financial and administrative software tools.
• High attention to detail, dependable organization skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
Compensation
