Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support planning and analytical activities for a long-term contract opportunity in Irvine, California. This role is well suited for someone with experience evaluating inventory-related data, building reports, and translating numbers into practical business insights. The ideal candidate brings strong spreadsheet expertise, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a Long-term Contract position.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that support planning decisions.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and Google Sheets to monitor inventory movement, performance indicators, and business results.
• Develop models and reporting tools that improve visibility into supply planning and related financial metrics.
• Perform variance analysis to explain differences between expected and actual results and highlight key business drivers.
• Use data mining techniques to organize large data sets and uncover actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support planning activities by tracking measurements, maintaining data accuracy, and communicating findings clearly to business partners.
• Assist with updates to reporting processes or analytical workflows as business needs evolve.
• Present analytical conclusions in a concise manner to help guide operational and financial decisions.

$33.25-$38.50 Hourly
