Accountant - Entry Level

We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to support core accounting activities for a company in Parsippany, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with financial records, handling routine transactional tasks, and assisting with year-end cleanup activities. The position follows a hybrid schedule with on-site work on Wednesdays and remote work on the remaining weekdays.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting support, including preparing and recording routine financial entries.

• Review and process purchase order documentation while maintaining accurate supporting records and related images.

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to help keep transactions organized and up to date.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.

• Use Excel to organize data, track accounting activity, and prepare basic reports for the team.

• Contribute to year-end cleanup efforts by reviewing records and helping resolve outstanding items.

• Provide administrative and operational support for treasury-related accounting tasks as needed.
