Editor IV (Contractor)

We are looking for an experienced editor to support cross-platform content programming for a major digital media environment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position focuses on shaping compelling editorial packages across web, mobile, and TV by combining strong copy, sound news judgment, and thoughtful content curation. The ideal candidate brings a sharp eye for audience interests, works well with partners and internal teams, and can keep daily publishing workflows organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Build and manage editorial features across subject areas such as news, sports, finance, lifestyle, entertainment, and television for digital and broadcast-facing platforms.
• Curate engaging content collections by combining articles, visuals, and other media assets into packages designed to increase audience interest and traffic.
• Track breaking developments across relevant media sources and publish timely updates while scheduling feature content for optimal visibility.
• Coordinate with external content partners to secure materials, maintain smooth workflows, and ensure accurate presentation across publishing channels.
• Review, edit, and refine daily copy to maintain high standards for clarity, tone, grammar, and consistency.
• Work closely with editors and cross-functional teams to support continuous coverage and prevent gaps between regular and off-hours programming.
• Analyze audience data and performance metrics to inform content decisions and improve editorial reach.
• Contribute ideas for future content initiatives, feature enhancements, and broader cross-platform editorial strategy.
