Jr. Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Staff Accountant to join our team in Solana Beach, California on a Contract basis. This fully onsite role supports day-to-day accounting operations and is well suited for someone who is comfortable handling routine financial tasks with accuracy and consistency. The position will work closely with senior accounting staff and contribute to maintaining organized records, timely processing, and reliable account activity tracking.

Responsibilities:
• Process vendor invoices accurately and enter accounts payable transactions in a timely manner.
• Prepare routine journal entries and maintain supporting documentation for daily accounting activity.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a regular basis and investigate any discrepancies.
• Download, organize, and save bank and investment account statements for recordkeeping purposes.
• Assist with weekly check runs and help ensure payments are issued correctly and on schedule.
• Support basic accounts receivable and account reconciliation activities as needed.
• Partner with the Senior Accountant to keep financial records current, complete, and audit-ready.
