Accounts Payable Specialist

Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an onsite opportunity with our client. This role is open due to an upcoming departure on the team and offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time hours. The ideal candidate will have prior AP experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:
Invoice entry and processing credit memos
Cutting and printing checks
Processing ACH and wire payments
Recording check deposits
Managing positive pay activities
Monitoring company bank accounts and handling related activity
Processing refund requests
Managing the AP email inbox and responding to vendor payment requests
Supporting general accounts payable functions
Assisting with account reconciliations, if capable

Requirements:
2+ years of accounts payable experience
Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred
Candidates who are highly tech savvy and able to learn systems quickly will also be considered
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage payment requests and prioritize tasks effectively
Professional communication skills

Additional Details:
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexible hours available: full-time or part-time (minimum 24 hours/week)
Duration: Ongoing opportunity with potential for temp-to-hire
Work Environment: Onsite
