Leasing Assistant

We are looking for a Leasing Assistant to support day-to-day property administration for a residential community. This contract position is part-time, scheduled three days per week, and is expected to last at least one month with the possibility of extension. The role is well suited for someone with property management experience who can guide applicants through the leasing process, help manage documentation, and contribute to smooth on-site operations.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with leasing and administrative activities to support the property manager and overall community operations.
• Screen prospective residents, collect required documentation, and help prepare applicant files for third-party review.
• Coordinate the applicant qualification process with accuracy, particularly for affordable housing or tax credit programs.
• Respond to resident and prospect inquiries with attention to detail and provide clear information about leasing steps and property policies.
• Maintain organized records, update resident and applicant information, and support daily office workflow.
• Help track leasing activity, appointments, and follow-up communication to keep the application process moving efficiently.
• Use property management software such as Yardi when needed to enter, review, or manage leasing-related information.
