Jr. Payroll Specialist

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a Junior Payroll Specialist to join its accounting and payroll team. This role is ideal for someone with foundational payroll experience who is looking to expand their knowledge and gain hands-on experience in a high-volume payroll environment. You'll work alongside experienced payroll professionals while supporting payroll processing, reporting, and employee payroll administration.

Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

• Assist with weekly and biweekly payroll processing
• Review employee timesheets and attendance records for accuracy
• Process payroll changes including wage adjustments and employee updates
• Maintain payroll records and employee information
• Support payroll reporting and reconciliations

Employee Support

• Respond to payroll-related inquiries
• Assist with onboarding and payroll setup for new employees
• Help resolve payroll discrepancies and reporting issues
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information
