CDL Driver

Job Description:

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport and deliver construction materials to various project locations in a timely and professional manner. This role ensures accurate order delivery, adherence to DOT regulations, and provides exceptional customer service during each delivery. Add the % of time expectation for each key responsibility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Materials Delivery:

  • Operate 18-wheel tractor-trailers (dry van and flatbed) for local deliveries between the warehouse, job sites, and vendors.

  • Safely load, secure, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with DOT regulations.

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and trailers.

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, project managers, and field teams to support material delivery schedules.

  • Assist with occasional rigging, load tie-downs, and equipment handling as required.

Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and inspection reports.

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and state/federal transportation laws.

What we're looking for in you

  • 10+ years of commercial driving experience, in various terrains on road and off road. (preferably in construction, logistics, or material supply industries)

  • 10+ years of experience hauling flatbeds and dry vans under varying load conditions, including active construction project sites.

  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, weight limits, and cargo securement requirements.

  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

  • Valid Class A CDL license required.

  • Chauffer license preferred.

Pay Range:

$26.71 - $40.06

The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
