JobSummary:

The Project Controls Analyst position will help manage scope,schedule, resources, and cost, enabling engineers to focus more time ontechnical responsibilities, improve design accuracy, and support predictabledelivery milestones for the organization.This role will be a liaison between design engineers, contractresources, grid stakeholders, jurisdictional schedulers, project managers, and designleadership across the regions.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

Utilize project scoping documents to maintainthe scope-tracking sheet, including resource requirements and scope-developmentstatus for each project. Ensure all relevant scoping and design activities areaccurately represented in P6 schedules.

Maintain engineering supervisors projectlist, including design-milestone need dates, construction start dates, resourceassignments, and other key details.

Prepare for, lead, and attend monthly meetingswith each contractor supporting design to obtain status updates on ongoingdesigns and upcoming contract releases.

Develop and maintain a process for trackingestimated costs versus contractor proposals/releases to ensure alignment withproject design budgets.

Maintain lists and develop reports thatsupport supervisors and oversight personnel in managing contractorseffectively.

Meet bi-weekly with each in-house designengineer to review project status, identify workload concerns, communicateupcoming projects, and discuss long-lead material needs and considerations forscoping efforts.

Prepare for and lead bi-weekly meetings withdesign leadership to review emerging issues and concerns.

Ensure all data sources remain synchronizedand work toward resolving any discrepancies.

Enter P6 change requests for the design teamfor projects and follow up to ensure completion and schedule updates.

Enter contractor requests for projects basedon engineer input.

Assist with invoice allocation to ensureaccurate project charging.

Assist with resource allocation for projectassignments.

Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Basicor Minimum Requirements

Requires a minimum of five (5) years ofProject Controls or Project Management related experience

Must be able to effectively communicate withproject stakeholders and upper management.

Must be proficient in Excel.

Requires the ability to manage multipleprojects and determine priorities

Must be a skilled writer.

Must understand the basic principles ofproject management

Requires a general understanding of CostManagement, Estimating and Change Control

Must have a high degree of computer literacy

Ability to collaborate with construction,field engineers, and vendors.

Attention to detail and accuracy inengineering documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred

Previous experience in the Utility industrypreferred

Experience utilizing P6 or other similarscheduling software.

WorkingConditions:

Work is conducted in an office environment(Private or Semi-Private Office) and requires occasional travel to off-sitework locations (work may be primarily completed remotely).

Interaction with other team members, as well assupervisors and client personnel

Must be able to wear safety equipment asrequired by the safety department for personal protection

May be at more than one job site in a day andmust be able to tolerate climate changes

May be required to travel out of town on aperiodic basis.
