Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our fire service respiratory protection equipment for the NFPA market through the full product lifecycle.

 

This role requires excellent listening, problem-solving, business acumen, and communication skills.  To be successful in this position, you are expected to deeply understand our customers’ needs and NFPA market dynamics so that you can translate those learnings into best-in-class, differentiated fire service respiratory protection experiences.

 

You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to ensure the health of the product group and the team, helping to balance long-term strategic considerations and product development with near- and mid-term opportunities and challenges in a high-pressure, opinionated environment.

  • Experience developing products in industries that are subject to regulatory requirements.

  • Serves as the go-to product expert for critical customer engagements and presentations
  • Demonstrates global business acumen, identifying and executing upon product and business model opportunities across a multi-national landscape
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to establish, monitor, and achieve performance goals that align with the project plan and company goals
  • Drives the front end of innovation through VOC efforts and market expertise
  • Displays a willingness to take informed risk, drive consensus and influence the long range portfolio

Education

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
  • 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred: MBA

 

Experience

  • 9 - 12 years of experience in marketing, sales or product development (engineering)
  • MBA or related graduate degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of experience
