Mission Planning & Execution

  • Lead mission integration activities from planning through post-mission assessment.
  • Develop and maintain mission schedules, milestones, and readiness plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure mission objectives are achieved on schedule.
  • Monitor mission risks, dependencies, and critical path activities.
  • Provide regular mission status reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

Program & Integration Leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for mission-specific integration activities.
  • Coordinate engineering, operations, manufacturing, logistics, and customer requirements.
  • Lead mission execution teams and facilitate resolution of technical and programmatic issues.
  • Ensure mission requirements are properly flowed down and executed across participating organizations.
  • Support major program reviews, readiness reviews, and customer engagements.

Schedule & Production Management

  • Manage mission production schedules and flight preparation activities.
  • Coordinate hardware integration, testing, certification, and launch preparation efforts.
  • Track action items, non-conformances, and mission impacts.
  • Support process improvements that enhance mission readiness and execution efficiency.
  • Ensure timely completion of mission deliverables and reporting requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interface with customer representatives, program leadership, and technical teams.
  • Communicate mission status, challenges, and mitigation plans.
  • Support executive-level briefings and decision-making activities.
  • Represent the program during integration meetings, milestone reviews, and operational readiness assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting aerospace, spaceflight, launch vehicle, spacecraft, defense, or mission operations programs.
  • Experience in human spaceflight programs
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional teams and mission execution activities.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, mission planning, and program execution.
  • Experience developing and managing integrated schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting NASA, DoW, and commercial spaceflight.
  • Background in launch vehicles, spacecraft, payloads, crew, and cargo integration.
  • Experience with mission readiness reviews and operational assessments.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test operations.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management experience.

Clearance Requirements

This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain programs.

How You Will Be Rewarded

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $165,000 annually.
