Custodial Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Custodial Lead to join our team in Ft. Worth, TX. The Custodial Lead will oversee daily custodial operations, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the custodial team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the custodial team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor the progress of custodial staff.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Inspect facilities regularly to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with management to address any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs for replenishment.
- Ensure all custodial activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve goals.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of applicable experience
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
