Qualifications
RS&H is currently seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineering Associate III to join our team in Tampa, FL.
As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm as an engineering discipline lead on conventional projects and potentially a project lead on projects of small to moderate size and complexity. This position will utilize production software and develop impact studies, cost analyses, and design requirements; analyze and interpret data; design complete projects, systems, components, and/or processes; prepare complete project documents, engineering analysis, and reports; perform field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects; and perform quality control reviews. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program and seven years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Eligibility to sit for the PE is strongly preferred.
- Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Be proficient in production software and construction document production.
- Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
