Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Wealth Technology Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to provide application design and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyze highly complex business requirements, design and write technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provide coding support and develops highly complex original code. Act as a technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verify program logic by contributing to the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversee overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversee creation of updates and testing in connection with the business continuation plan. Secure application development using Angular. Design, develop and maintain solutions to support key business needs. Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software. Engineer Web Pages, Core Components and Common Services based upon pre-defined development models, languages and standards. Produce Functional System Design Documents. Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments. Debug and document existing systems through code analysis. Contribute to application management activities such as business continuity, SDLC & ERM activities, technical refresh support, critical surveys, analysis, platform releases, patching, vulnerabilities. Provide system management support for Technology mandates. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Degree required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.

Amount and type of experience required: 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 4 years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • 3 years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using JavaScript, Angular or a combination of both.
  • 2 years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience.
  • 2 years of Investment Risk, Investment management application experience, or a combination of both.
  • 2 years of experience with Angular 8 or 9 or newer upgrades for legacy applications.
  • 1 year of Agile experience.
  • 1 year of DevOps experience.
  • 1 year of cloud computing experience.
  • 1 year of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Experience with Autosys.
