Data Architect
Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain data architecture frameworks that support manufacturing operations, analytics, and enterprise reporting needs.
• Create and refine relational and manufacturing-focused data models to improve consistency, usability, and long-term scalability.
• Lead integration planning across business systems, operational technology platforms, and connected data environments.
• Establish governance standards for data quality, structure, ownership, and lifecycle management across critical datasets.
• Define and manage version-controlled master data practices to strengthen traceability and accuracy.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using technologies such as Python, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, ETL processes, and SQL Server.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into practical architectural solutions.
• Support connectivity with manufacturing execution, historian, and recipe management platforms where applicable.
• Contribute to integration activities involving industrial tools such as iFix, WinCC, FactoryTalk, and PI Historian when required.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience designing server-based data architecture in complex business or industrial environments.• Strong background in relational database design and data modeling, including manufacturing-related information structures.
• Hands-on expertise with systems integration and enterprise data flow design.
• Solid understanding of data governance principles, master data control, and version-managed data practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, Apache Kafka, ETL development, and SQL Server.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with exposure to operational technology data sources.
• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems, historian platforms, or recipe management solutions is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial or integration architecture concepts, including exposure to OT-connected environments, is a plus.
