Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead onsite AI initiatives in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position will oversee the full delivery lifecycle for artificial intelligence projects, including planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, user enablement, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership skills and can manage both strategic priorities and day-to-day execution in a structured, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Lead onsite AI project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables remain aligned with business goals.
• Coordinate administrative activities tied to AI programs, including request intake, governance workflows, cybersecurity collaboration, and usage reporting.
• Facilitate project planning sessions, define milestones, track dependencies, and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Partner with technical and business teams to support AI implementation efforts and resolve project risks, blockers, and resource constraints.
• Organize and deliver training plans that help end users and stakeholders adopt new AI capabilities effectively.
• Use Jira and Agile delivery practices to manage backlogs, monitor work progress, and maintain visibility across project activities.
• Establish project documentation, status updates, and reporting processes that support informed decision-making and compliance needs.
• Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure AI solutions are implemented smoothly and supported by appropriate operational processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing IT projects with a focus on AI-related initiatives or emerging technology implementations.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile Scrum frameworks and structured delivery practices.
• PMP certification is required.
• Hands-on experience using Atlassian Jira for planning, tracking, and reporting project work.
• Ability to manage governance, reporting, training, and stakeholder communication across complex initiatives.
• Strong understanding of risk management, issue resolution, and cross-functional team coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present updates clearly to varied audiences.

Compensation

$57.00-$66.00 Hourly
