Member Growth & Relations Officer
We are looking for an Administrative Officer to strengthen client engagement, expand community awareness, and deliver support for benefits-related needs. This position combines outreach, communications, and service coordination to help build strong member relationships while supporting daily administrative activities. The ideal candidate is organized, service-focused, and comfortable working onsite five days per week while representing the organization in a detail-focused and community-facing capacity.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective members through outreach efforts, follow-up communication, and community engagement activities.
• Develop clear, audience-focused messaging for member updates, promotional campaigns, and general communications that encourage participation and awareness.
• Respond to member questions regarding benefits, enrollment matters, and service-related concerns with accuracy and timely follow-through.
• Support day-to-day administrative operations connected to benefits coordination, including documentation, record maintenance, and service request tracking.
• Assist with COBRA-related processes and help members understand continuation coverage information and related procedures.
• Provide support for leave of absence cases by coordinating required information, monitoring timelines, and helping ensure policy compliance.
• Contribute to compensation and benefits support activities by helping organize information, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex matters when needed.
• Represent the organization at community-facing events or outreach opportunities to promote membership growth and strengthen local engagement.
• Travel as needed for outreach and member support activities, using a valid driver’s license to meet role requirements.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting benefits administration, member services, or a related customer-facing function.• Working knowledge of benefit functions, benefits coordination, COBRA administration, and leave of absence processes.
• Familiarity with compensation and benefits practices and the ability to communicate related information clearly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling records, follow-up actions, and service requests.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in New York, New York.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel related to outreach and community engagement responsibilities.
Compensation
$60,000.00-$85,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
