Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain server and workstation environments across both on-premises and cloud platforms to support business continuity and operational efficiency.
• Configure, update, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server systems and endpoint platforms, ensuring systems remain secure, current, and aligned with approved standards.
• Track infrastructure health, evaluate system performance trends, and communicate key findings and recommendations to IT leadership.
• Oversee backup processes, troubleshoot related issues, and perform data recovery activities when restoration is required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures to support consistent service delivery and team knowledge sharing.
• Develop and use scripts or automation methods to deploy applications, install patches, and streamline recurring administrative tasks.
• Provide advanced support for end users and internal teams, resolving escalated technical issues within established service expectations.
• Contribute technical expertise to projects, disaster recovery planning, system evaluations, and infrastructure improvement initiatives as a subject matter resource.
• Review hardware, software, and third-party solutions, assisting with testing, implementation, and recommendations for operational use.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration supporting enterprise server, workstation, and cloud-connected environments.• Hands-on expertise with Active Directory administration, including user, group, and policy management.
• Strong experience managing Microsoft Windows Server environments in a production setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SCCM and Intune for endpoint configuration, software deployment, and device management.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot system, backup, and infrastructure issues in a timely and methodical manner.
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational procedures, and support standards for IT environments.
• Ability to support multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and communicate technical information clearly to both IT and business users.
Compensation
