We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations. Key Responsibilities

·      Process and maintain accounts payable transactions, including reviewing, coding, and entering invoices.

·      Generate customer invoices and verify purchase orders received prior to billing.

·      Manage accounts receivable activities, including posting customer payments and researching payment discrepancies.

·      Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts.

·      Assist with collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances.

·      Reconcile customer and vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

·      Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.

·      Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting requirements.

·      Prepare reports and schedules as requested by management.

·      Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications

·      Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.

·      Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, invoicing, and account reconciliations.

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and pivot tables.

·      Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·      Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

·      Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·      Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.

Education

·      Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

·      Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Compensation

$41,000.00-$45,000.00 Yearly
