Litigation Paralegal
We are looking for a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support a busy legal team. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone with solid litigation support experience who can confidently manage filings, case documentation, and scheduling in a fast-paced environment. The role will provide direct support to two attorneys and requires strong familiarity with court procedures, legal terminology, and probate-related matters. This position is expected to run for 3-4 months and begins onsite for training before offering remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, submit, and track court filings electronically while ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and deadlines.
• Coordinate closely with court personnel, county offices, and opposing counsel to keep matters moving efficiently.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files, documentation, and related records throughout the litigation process.
• Manage calendars for hearings, deadlines, meetings, and other case-related activities for the attorneys supported.
• Assist with trust administration and probate-related legal work, including drafting routine documents and monitoring matter progress.
• Provide day-to-day litigation support to one associate and one partner by helping prioritize tasks and case needs.
• Monitor procedural requirements and help ensure all filings and case activity align with court expectations.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably within a trust administration practice.
• Working knowledge of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court filing requirements.
• Experience with electronic filing systems and confidence handling deadline-sensitive submissions.
• Familiarity with probate, estate administration, or trust-related matters is strongly preferred.
• Strong file management and calendaring skills with close attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Paralegal certification is not required for this position.
Compensation
