Collections Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Collections Supervisor to lead commercial credit and collection activities for a long-term contract opportunity based in Arkansas. This role is ideal for someone who can balance customer relationship management with strong credit oversight and timely resolution of outstanding accounts. The successful candidate will guide daily collection efforts, support sound credit decisions, and use data-driven reporting to improve performance across the receivables process.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day commercial collections operations and ensure past-due accounts are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• Review customer accounts to assess payment trends, identify risk, and recommend appropriate collection strategies.
• Support and approve credit decisions in alignment with established policies and business objectives.
• Monitor aging reports and collection metrics to prioritize workload and improve cash flow results.
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyze account data, prepare reports, and track team performance against key targets.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve billing concerns, payment disputes, and credit-related issues.
• Provide guidance to collection staff, promote consistent processes, and help maintain a high standard of account management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of collection activity, credit evaluations, and account status updates.

Qualifications:

• Experience supervising commercial collections and credit operations in a business-to-business environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit practices, collections procedures, and account risk evaluation.
• Ability to approve credit based on financial information, payment history, and established guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and account tracking.
• Demonstrated success managing collection workflows and improving receivables performance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive account discussions professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines.

Compensation

$19.79-$22.91 Hourly
