HR Coordinator

Compensation: $20 to $23 Hourly

We are looking for an HR Coordinator to support key people operations for a Contract position based in Minnesota. This role will help create a smooth and compliant employee experience by coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining accurate HR records, and assisting with administrative processes across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-focused, and comfortable handling sensitive information while partnering with internal teams to keep HR workflows moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding activities, including onboarding schedules, documentation collection, and readiness for start dates.
• Manage background screening steps and follow up on outstanding items to help ensure timely staffing decisions.
• Maintain employee information within HR systems, keeping records accurate, current, and aligned with internal standards.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support for HR operations, including processing forms, tracking requests, and responding to routine inquiries.
• Assist with compliance-related tasks by organizing required documentation and helping monitor adherence to HR policies and procedures.
• Partner with managers and internal stakeholders to support a consistent onboarding experience for incoming employees.
• Review HR data for completeness and resolve discrepancies to improve reporting accuracy and personnel file integrity.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting onboarding coordination and employee intake processes in an HR environment.
• Working knowledge of HR administration practices, including document handling and records maintenance.
• Familiarity with employment screening coordination and related workflows.
• Experience using HRIS platforms to enter, update, and audit employee data.
• Understanding of HR compliance requirements and the importance of confidentiality in personnel matters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$20.00-$23.00 Hourly
