Treasury Manager
Our client, a growing professional services firm with operations across the United States and Canada, is seeking a Treasury Manager who thrives in building, scaling, and transforming finance organizations. This is not a traditional treasury role. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on executor—someone who can develop a vision, create the roadmap, build the processes, and drive successful execution.
This role is designed for a finance leader with a strong blend of Treasury, FP& A, and strategic finance experience, ideally gained within a large global organization. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner across the finance organization and broader enterprise, influencing stakeholders at all levels while helping modernize and scale key finance capabilities.
The Opportunity
As the firm continues to grow, implements a new ERP system, and redesigns key finance processes, the Treasury Manager will play a critical role in building and enhancing treasury operations for the future. This individual will help establish best practices, improve cash visibility and forecasting, drive process standardization, and support broader finance transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate has experience building, rebuilding, or significantly transforming a treasury function, with a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multi-entity, global environments. Success in this role requires someone who can balance strategic leadership with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and modernize treasury operations, including cash positioning, liquidity management, banking relationships, and treasury technology platforms.
- Design, implement, and scale treasury processes, controls, and reporting frameworks to support continued organizational growth.
- Develop and enhance cash forecasting methodologies while improving visibility into enterprise-wide liquidity.
- Partner closely with FP& A and finance leadership on forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and capital allocation initiatives.
- Serve as a key contributor to ERP implementation and broader finance transformation efforts.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and establish scalable operating procedures across treasury and finance functions.
- Act as a strategic finance business partner, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the U.S., Canada, and global organization.
- Create and execute clear implementation plans, define success metrics, and ensure initiatives are carried through to completion.
- Help shape the future-state treasury organization while providing hands-on leadership during the transition.
Why Join?
- Opportunity to build and influence the future of a growing treasury function.
- High-visibility role with significant interaction across executive leadership and finance teams.
- Exposure to enterprise-wide ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives.
- Ability to drive meaningful change and leave a lasting impact on the organization.
- Long-term career growth opportunities across Treasury, FP& A, and strategic finance.
