Network Analyst III - US

We are looking for an experienced Network Analyst III to join a global operations team supporting enterprise network performance and reliability in Houston, Texas. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented network analyst who can balance day-to-day operational support with project-based engineering work, while partnering with users and technical teams across multiple locations. The role requires strong troubleshooting depth, clear communication, and hands-on expertise with complex network environments spanning routing, switching, security, wireless, and monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network and application performance concerns, driving timely diagnosis and resolution across enterprise environments.
• Administer and optimize network monitoring and configuration management platforms to improve visibility, stability, and operational control.
• Deliver technical support for field connectivity infrastructure, including industrial-grade switches, routers, and wireless bridge technologies.
• Use the service management portal to open, track, and update incidents, service requests, outages, and change records with accuracy and urgency.
• Assess emerging tools and technical approaches, recommending solutions that align with operational needs and recognized industry standards.
• Identify practical ways to extend the value of current platforms and infrastructure through smarter use of existing technologies.
• Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities and change windows, including preparation for weekend network work when required.
• Collaborate effectively with end users, field personnel, and internal teams worldwide to communicate issues, risks, and solutions clearly.
• Contribute network engineering expertise to infrastructure initiatives and special projects as business needs arise.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto technologies, including Panorama, PA-Series Next-Generation Firewalls, and Prisma.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, and Nexus data center architecture.
• Proficiency with SolarWinds network management applications and packet-level analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Advanced troubleshooting ability across routing, switching, VPN technologies, DMVPN, spanning tree, firewall platforms, and network security concepts.
• Familiarity with network management and traffic analysis protocols such as NetFlow, IP SLA, and related monitoring standards.
• Demonstrated project coordination skills and the ability to work directly with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Oil and gas industry experience, particularly supporting field operations and coordinating with field support technicians, is highly preferred.

Compensation

$40.00-$45.00 Hourly
