Fullstack Developer

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join a long-term contract opportunity based in Southfield, Michigan. In this role, you will build and improve custom web applications that support business needs across a global environment while contributing to modern development practices and scalable technical solutions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across front-end and back-end technologies, partnering with cross-functional teams, and applying emerging tools to deliver reliable, user-focused software.

Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and enhance custom applications and websites using modern full-stack development practices across front-end and back-end environments.
• Partner with business analysts, project managers, relationship managers, and support teams to turn business goals into effective technical solutions.
• Strengthen development capabilities by introducing practical tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches that improve delivery quality and team efficiency.
• Contribute to architectural planning by helping integrate both new and existing development methods into broader application design strategies.
• Create and streamline automated development workflows while advancing the use of monitoring and application management solutions.
• Support planning and execution for application maintenance, performance oversight, and long-term support initiatives.
• Participate in change management activities tied to application enhancements, upgrades, and enterprise system integrations.
• Present project updates, technical recommendations, and support status clearly to IT leadership and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in application development, software analysis, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, C#, .NET Framework, and Azure cloud services.
• Solid front-end development experience with React and JavaScript, including the ability to contribute to user interface improvements.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Working knowledge of software development best practices, structured delivery processes, and collaborative engineering methods.
• Experience using large language models and AI-assisted development tools, including prompt design, output evaluation, and structured response techniques.
• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation, grounding methods, agentic AI concepts, and common AI risks such as hallucinations, prompt injection, and data exposure.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business outcomes.

Compensation

$54.15-$62.70 Hourly
