Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support election-day activities through a Contract position. This role focuses on assisting voters with a courteous, detail-oriented approach while helping maintain an organized and efficient polling environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with the public, providing clear guidance, and supporting voting equipment use as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome voters and provide helpful, respectful assistance throughout the voting process.
• Guide individuals to the appropriate check-in or voting lines to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
• Support poll site setup by preparing voting kiosks and opening ballots for use at the start of operations.
• Assist voters in navigating touch-screen voting machines while following established election procedures.
• Answer routine questions clearly and escalate issues to designated election staff when needed.
• Monitor the polling area to help maintain order, accessibility, and a positive customer service experience.
• Perform accurate data or order-entry style tasks related to voter processing and polling support when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience with strong face-to-face communication skills.
• Ability to interact patiently and professionally with a diverse public audience.
• Comfort using touch-screen equipment and following step-by-step procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle process-driven tasks accurately.
• Ability to remain organized and effective in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work assigned Contract hours during the election period.
• Basic administrative or order entry experience is preferred.

Compensation

$16.00-$17.00 Hourly
