Field Technician

Field Technicians will support a statewide hardware refresh project across Arkansas DMV locations, working during off-hours while sites are closed. This role involves consistent travel, hands-on deployment work, and coordination with a project team to execute equipment upgrades efficiently. Technicians will be responsible for transporting equipment, replacing existing hardware, and ensuring systems are ready for next-day go-live operations.

Details:

• Location: Travel throughout Arkansas (onsite at DMV offices)
• Duration: 8 weeks (potential extension)
• Start Date: July 27 (pilot opportunity as early as July 7)
• Compensation: $25-35/hour
• Schedule: Evenings (Mon–Fri ~5pm–8/9pm) + every other Saturday
• Hours: ~20–25 hours/week

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Hardware refresh (desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, etc.)
• Equipment pickup, transport, and onsite installation
• Imaging/reimaging devices and executing deployment scripts

Additional Info:

• Travel, hotels, and rental vehicle are covered by the client (no per diem for food/incidentals)
• Work is performed after-hours while offices are closed
• Must be comfortable with statewide travel and evening work & occasional weekend work
• Background check and credit check required

Qualifications:

• Experience with hardware installations, upgrades, and refresh projects (desktops, monitors, printers, scanners, etc.)
• Hands-on knowledge of imaging/reimaging systems and running deployment scripts (e.g., Uber scripts)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, and exposure to ServiceNow and/or SharePoint
• Ability to transport, stage, and set up equipment across multiple sites
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field
• Comfortable with frequent travel, night work, and weekend schedules
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and credit check
