Front Desk Coordinator
A busy and highly regarded dental practice is seeking an experienced Front Desk Coordinator to oversee patient scheduling, front office operations, and customer service activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients while helping maintain a smooth and organized office environment. The practice is looking for a polished professional who can confidently manage a high-volume front desk while delivering exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities
Patient & Front Office Support
- Greet patients and create a welcoming office experience
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and patient eligibility
- Collect copayments and process patient payments
- Manage incoming phone calls and appointment requests
- Coordinate treatment schedules and follow-up appointments
Administrative Functions
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Assist with treatment plan coordination and patient communication
- Support office reporting and administrative projects
- Ensure accuracy of patient demographics and insurance information
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of dental office experience required
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar software preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and scheduling processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional demeanor and patient-focused mindset
Compensation
