This is a contingent position, meaning employment is dependent upon the successful award of the associated contract to Aretum and completion of any required background investigation or security clearance verification.

Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a Governance & IRB Analyst. As a Governance and IRB Analyst you will oversee the scheduling, documentation, and management of the IRBs, governance training, and SharePoint repository to include development and maintenance of workflows required for governance support.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develops agendas, maintains the agenda backlog, drafts meeting minutes, tracks action item, and prepares other technical documentation
- Maintains Charters, Policies, Processes, Procedures, and Templates
- Facilitates Out-of-Cycle votes and coordination of budget reviews
- Supports business units in defining, compiling, and submitting IT budget requests
- Attends IRB meetings and tracks approved, denied, and on hold IT spend-items
- Reviews MS Excel reports from budgeting groups and compares multiple iterations of Spend Plan reports
- Maintains KPI reports
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting federal governance boards
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years of additional experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree)
- In depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and IT Governance-related disciplines
- Expertise with MS Office, governance documentation, and SharePoint administration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to effectively work with multiple levels within an organization
- Experience preparing high visibility, executive level presentation materials
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
