Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented WarehouseShop Supervisor to join our TEAM. This position is based in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and is full-time day shift hours. Overview:

Manages warehouse and material handling operations to support machine shop and assembly production goals. Ensures the timely flow of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse safety. Identifies bottlenecks in material flow and implements corrective actions. Supports continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Leads warehouse personnel to drive process improvements, maintain organization standards, and support production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, kitting, and material delivery to machining and assembly areas.
  • Coordinate material flow to ensure production schedules are met with no shortages or delays.
  • Implement and maintain cycle counting and inventory accuracy processes; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of raw materials, machined parts, and finished assemblies.
  • Work closely with production, planning, and purchasing to align material availability with demand.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage methods, and material flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Lead team in kitting and staging materials for machine shop jobs and assembly builds.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery to production, and picking efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper use of forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel; support cross-training across material handling functions.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently while maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation using Lean principles.
  • Conduct regular Gemba walks to monitor workflow, identify issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory errors, shortages, or damaged materials.
  • Ensure proper documentation and system transactions (ERP/WMS) for all material movements.
  • Prepare reports and communicate inventory and warehouse performance metrics to management.
  • Maintain 5S standards within warehouse and material staging areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience supporting machine shop and/or assembly operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and material flow processes.
  • Ability to operate or oversee operation of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Working knowledge and application of 5S principles in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with Kanban, pull systems, or just-in-time (JIT) material replenishment.
  • Familiarity with machining processes, bill of materials (BOMs), and assembly workflows.
  • Certification in forklift operation or warehouse safety training programs.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must remain in a stationary position (sit/stand) for extended periods.
  • Must operate a computer for extended periods.
  • Must have adequate vision for computer work and reviewing documents.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting, up to 50 lbs., occasionally.
  • Must be physically capable of occasional bending, squatting, or stooping.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly for effective communication.
  • Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods in a shop setting.
  • Must be physically able to handle parts and be around heavy equipment frequently.
  • Must wear required PPE when in applicable areas.
