Overview

We are seeking an experienced Installation Analyst III to serve as an Installation Representative (I-REP) and provide high-level installation management support for the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I). This critical role ensures the seamless integration and synchronization of C4I systems onto naval platforms. The successful candidate will leverage deep analytical expertise to support Assistant Program Managers for Installation (APM-I) and guide the installation of complex hardware and software systems across various PMWs (e.g., PMW 130, 160, 170) and Fleet Readiness Directorates (FRD).

Responsibilities

  • Review technical documentation, installation plans, and databases to prepare status, evaluation, and assessment reports on significant technical and programmatic issues related to the installation of hardware and software on platforms, including surface ships and submarines 
  • Prepare, evaluate, and refine afloat, shore, and submarine installation policies, processes, standards, and training documentation
  • Define installation process execution requirements and develop software specifications to support modernization tool development and integration
  • Strictly apply and interpret regulations and policies affecting the installation of Programs of Record (POR) and non-POR systems, ensuring compliance with Navy Installation Process Handbooks, NAVSEA Technical Specifications, OPNAV instructions, and the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual
  • Leverage and interact with enterprise advance planning and execution tools, such as SPIDER/RIPTIDE and NDE, to track and execute approved funding and schedules for system installations
  • Coordinate comprehensively to drive APM-I support and ensure programmatic alignment for successful fielding and integration.
  • Prepare, recommend, review, revise, and coordinate installation and production changes; track estimated costs for installations; and prepare crucial installation documentation such as Justification/Cost Forms (JCFs), Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), and Ship Change Documents (SCDs) 
  • Analyze, review, and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and work scopes to support hardware and software installations on new construction ships, collaborating closely with the Fleet Readiness and Logistics/Installation Office to track programmatic maturity
  • Coordinate the scheduling and execution of software deliveries to ensure Pre-Installation Check-Out (PICO) activities are successfully completed prior to shipboard installation.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Ten (10) years of professional experience directly supporting the installation of hardware and software products, preferably within the DoD/Department of the Navy 
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Navy modernization and configuration management databases such as SPIDER, RIPTIDE, and NDE is highly desired.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required walking in the door. TS/SCI clearance is preferred

Basic Compensation: $97,000 - $147,000 yearly salary

The salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include performance incentives and program-specific awards. We do not use salary history to determine compensation, in line with applicable law.
